California law on stays of maternity

California has strict laws on maternity stays after the birth of a child. All hospital or medical facility that violate these laws should be reported to the California Attorney General. Vaginal BirthInsurance companies must provide women with a stay at 48 hours after the vaginal birth hospital. It's 1996 signed a law of the State, but a federal law by President Clinton.
